Hi, I’m Dominik

the one (hu)man show behind this brand. My passions span natural wine, biodynamic agriculture, yoga, expressive art, dogs, and books on food and wine. For over 15 years, I’ve worked in the wine and restaurant industry, living in London and Greece before returning to Vienna.

Along the way, I’ve built meaningful connections in the international food and wine scene that continue to shape my work today. A few years ago, I took a deep dive into the world of viticulture — driven by the desire to understand nature, to observe, to feel and to taste it. I’ve since worked with several wineries focused on natural, biodynamic, or organic approaches.

While working with nature, I have become more aware of my strengths. These include organisation, strategy, communication, and an understanding of the global natural wine market. I also consider myself to be a creative individual with an eye for design and an appreciation for simplicity. I am a sociable person who enjoys connecting with and learning from different people. Founding Kantharos – wine agency was my way of weaving these elements into a purposeful whole — a trusted foundation for collaboration, for myself and my partners.
